Ella McLennan
I’m Ella, a master’s student at the University of the Balearic Islands. I am excited by new ideas
and enjoy developing them through a creative process. My key values are authenticity, creativity,

Farm-raised
I grew up on a farm in Maramarua, NZ. I am familiar with animal behavior and have experience in handling horses, cows, sheep, dogs, and domestic animals.

Photography / Shorts
Visual art gives me the ability to capture a moment and bring to attention details that would not be noticed otherwise.
I have participated in short-film competitions as cinematographer and have done photography and videography at weddings and events. -
Music
The ability of expression through writing and poetry has been with me from a young age. I have received awards in songwriting and musicianship, and have played in bands of various genres, from jazz-funk to old school rock. I play the bass, classical and electric guitar and sing.

Coffee
My special interest in coffee was born through working as a part-time barista during my undergraduate studies. I appreciate the coffee-making process and continue to acquire knowledge around the global coffee industry.

Team player
I participated in team sports, including netball and water polo. I was a referee for netball and umpired competitions up to the regional under 30s Waikato champs.
